Esta semana en la clase de Español...

We will continue to review telling time in 3rd and 4th grade. 1st grade will be reviewing the Solar System in Spanish. Kindergarten will finish the colors DVD (quite entertaining), and second grade we will be adding more vocabulary to our Symtalk system in order to help the students form longer sentences.

We will soon be talking about Christmas traditions in several Spanish-speaking countries, and will be making snow flakes, Poinsettias, and Molas depending on grade level. Holiday music will be playing for the next several weeks in order to get them ready for our "fiestas"!

Esta semana en la clase de Español...

We are making "El Día de Acción de Gracias" place cards for their Thanksgiving Dinner. In these cards they have written what they are thankful for, so that they can share it with family and friends...in Spanish!

¡Feliz Día de acción de Gracias!

Esta semana en Español...

For all grades, we'll begin our discussions on "El Día de Acción de Gracias" (Thanksgiving Day). The fourth graders will be reviewing the "clock" while the 3rd graders will be learning how to tell time.
In Kindergarten we are beginning to have volunteers come up to do calendar. This is an exciting time as they begin to take the initiative to participate and speak Spanish on their own.
1st and 2nd graders will be increasing basic vocabulary with the use of the Symtalk Program.
They are enjoying the "Operando" (Operation) game in Spanish, providing them with a fun way to learn how to count money.

¡Gracias!
